How does your product/service work?

Our approach involves providing experienced consultants who are highly knowledgeable in the testing and compliance industry. Fire Testing
Comprehensive small- and large-scale fire testing for mattresses and mattress pads, including flammability, fire resistance, ignition, burn rate, smoke density, radiant panel, toxicity, combustibility, and weight loss assessments.

Fire Door Testing
Testing fire door assemblies to recognized standards, including UL 10(c), UBC 7-2 (1997) Part 1, NFPA 252, and ASTM E2074-00, ensuring compliance with positive pressure fire test requirements.

Electrical Testing
Accredited compliance testing to UL and CSA standards. Our extensive scope covers approvals across numerous recognized standards and industries.

Physical Testing
Our physical testing services include flexural, tension, compression, water absorption, water vapor permeance, linear expansion, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, and fungi resistance.

Insulation Testing
We specialize in testing various insulation materials such as spray foam, mineral fiber, fiberglass, loose-fill, and cellulose in forms like block, batt, blanket, pipe, and board. Testing standards include ICC-ES AC377, AC12, ASTM C665, C612, C726, C547, C592, and CAN/ULC-S702, S703, S704, S705, and S712.

Thermal Properties
We assess thermal performance, including R-value, long-term thermal resistance (thin slicing), K-factor, and U-value, adhering to ASTM C518, ASTM C1303, and CAN/ULC-S770 standards.

Railing Testing
Our railing testing complies with the NBC, provincial building codes, IBC, ICC AC 273/174, and ASTM E935.

Environmental & Durability Testing
Our environmental testing capabilities include salt spray, UV exposure, xenon/carbon arc, humidity, aging, freeze-thaw cycles, vapor/air permeance, and water penetration resistance. Additionally, we offer Carbon Footprint Product Certification to verify compliance with environmental legislation.

Fenestration (Windows and Doors)
We conduct fenestration testing to AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 and NAFS standards to meet the National Building Code (NBC) and provincial building codes. Energy simulation testing complies with CSA A440.2 and NFRC 100 to meet ENERGY STAR, Ontario Energy Act (OEA)
